Who we are: Two Mom's from suburban America but that want to bring the world and art and culture into our children's lives. We want to teach them about the history of our country and our world.

I'm Emily, I'm 26. I have an almost 6 year old son. I love theatre, travelling, reading, art, music and own a small book store that enables me to work from home. I'm very close to my family and play a mean game of canasta or cribbage. I'm hoping to buy my first house in the coming year or two.
I'm Gwendolyn, I'm 30, I am married and have a beautiful almost 1 year old daughter. I work in the accounting world, and have just purchased my first house! I love to read, game ( video games, rpgs, and I will take you all down in trivial pursuit! ) and am an incurable nerd. :)
We will try every week to post something from history that we find fascinating and think you might too!
